Annual Budgets

The District's Board of Directors adopts operating and capital budgets annually, setting each fiscal year's work plan and project funding.

Operating Budgets

Pursuant to Section 61110 of the California Government Code, preliminary budgets are generally approved at the Board's June meeting and no later than July 1 each year. The District's final fiscal year budget is then generally approved at either the Board's July or August meeting but always on or before September 1 each year. The District's fiscal year begins on July 1 and ends on June 30.

Capital Budgets

Alongside its annual operating budget, the Board also adopts a rolling five-year capital budget covering planned infrastructure and facility improvement projects for the collection, treatment and disposal system.
